Aaliyah Dana Haaughton gained prominence after the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing but a Number in 1994. The album, made available at just 15 years old was certified Gold. The collaboration that influential to R. Kelly's music and brought her into the spotlight. In 1996 she worked together with Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland to release her second album One In A Million which featured the hit number one single If You Only Knew. The actress is the very first generation of Indian-American who was from Connecticut. Mann is a contraction of her married final name Mankad. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar as well as Aarti Munn as her professional names. Her acting career started in the the mid 2000's, with a few roles on TV and films. Some of her other notable work comprise Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. She also appeared in several commercials including Volvo and other major automobile companies. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actress.
